US Winter Cup: Durante on Top

David DURANTE (USA)

The number 9 of the 2004 US all-around championships, David Durante was the winner of the 2005 USA national start event of artistic gymnastics, the WINTER CUP, held in Las Vegas last weekend.
The 24 years old Durante (USOTC) topped Minnesota's Guillermo Alvarez and Houston's Todd Thornton.

International Gymnast reported, that the competition followed the updated FIG Code of Points, with each routine starting from a base score of 8.4. ...
