German Olympic Team with Ronny

About 6,000 visitors came on Saturday to the special 'Ronny Ziesmer Benefit Gala' to the Berlin's Max Schmeling Hall.
All together 100,000 EURO was the financial result of a big show program, in favour of the gymnast Ronny Ziesmer, who is paralyzed after a vaulting crash at July 12 in preparation for the Olympic Games.
A lot of German top stars, like the swimmer Franziska van Almsick, the cyclist Jens Fiedler came to this shof of the German Gymnastics Federation DTB. Special guests were also FIG-President Bruno Grandi and UEG-President Dimitrios Dimitropolous and more tha 20 Olympic and world shampions from different countries....
Ronny was overwhelmed...!
Standing ovations welcomed Ronny Ziesmer, when he came into the Max Schmeling Hall with his wheel chair and than started a big show, which was also transmitted by German television.
Current gymnastics champions ware also guests, like the Greece Olympic champion on rings Dimosthenis Tampakos, Leszek Blanik from Poland, the Swiss Andreas Schweizer, who brought special greetings from the Swiss President Engelmann, the French old star Dmitri Karbonenko and Janis Tanskanen from Finland and all the members of German Olympic team, of course...
Apropos, old stars: The Olympic Champion Klaus Koeste (Munich, 1972) made also giants at high bar, like the former world champions Eberhard Gienger and Sylvio Kroll (photo, right >>) for the special Ronny Ziesmer fund raiser.
