Peter Kotzurek remains in Switzerland

Kotzurek will take over Hofmann's job
Peter Kotzurek, from 1996 to 2003 head coach of the Swiss men's national team, will during the course of next year take over the job of Dieter Hofmann as head coach in the Swiss gymnastics center 'Kunst- und Geräteturnzentrum Liestal (NKL)'.
Hofmann will retire after 13 years of successful work....

The 43-year old Kotzurek had several offers and has now decided to go to Liestal
The contract has been settled on August 2nd. It is planned that a 50% job starts immediately so that Kotzurek can get into the new work together with Hofmann and everything is settled once Hofmann retires.
The club NKL has been one of the leading gymnastics centers in Switzerland in recent years.

 

 

Peter Kotzurek had been the last head coach of the GDR women's national team and then coached at a German women's gymnastics training center in Bergisch-Gladbach before he went to Switzerland in 1996. Since he started his work there the Swiss men's gymnastics steadily improved on the international level.
