Once again the great Russian Team, Olympic 2000 Silver medallists, led by the “Queen” of Artistic Gymnastics Svetlana Khorkina, will arrive in Liverpool to challenge the British girls in the Friendly International GBR v RUS at the Park Road Gymnastics Centre in Liverpool, on June 26/27, 2004....it will also be a repetition of the Amsterdam's bars duel

The event is expected to raise enormous interest because it will also serve as the second Olympic Trial for the British gymnasts and national Coaches Leonid Arkaev (RUS) and Zoltan Jordanov (GBR) will test their team line-ups including some of their best prospects for Athens....
