PEGASES in Ulan Bator
Also in Mongolia now young talents as well as the elite gymnasts can use the modern vaulting table 'PEGASES'.
After the premiere of this new apparatus at the 2001 World Champs in Ghent until now there was no opportunity for the Gymnastics Federation of Mongolia to receive the gift of the F.I.G. and the Dutch company Janssen-Fritsen. Although they didn't need to pay for the apparatus the transport costs nonetheless would have been too expensive for them...
Now the FIG took over the transport costs and the Dutch PEGASES company and a happy team of Mongolian gymnasts in the capital Ulan Bator can now use this modern Janssen-Fritsen apparatus every day...
From spring 2004 on also the Mongolian Gymnastics Federation can use the modern and FIG certificated vaulting table 'PEGASES ' in their national gymnastics center of the capital Ulan Bator.
It was a gift from the F.I.G. and the Dutch PEGASES producer 'Janssen-Fritsen' to all 74 participating nations at the 1999 World Championships in Tianjan (China).
Mongolia took part at this event with the individual gymnasts Myagmarjav ARIUNGOO and Adjya TSOLOMON and so they were entitled to get one table for free.
The condition for being chosen as official competition apparatus for the World Championships 2001 in Ghent was that all it could be used in all F.I.G member nations. However, the Mongolian Federation gave a sign in spring 2004 that the are not able to pay the transport costs, but the FIG helped and so the J&F Company now decided also to send the first PEGASES for free to Ulan Bator.
PEGASES in Canada... ...For quite a while already the modern vaulting table 'PEGASES' is being used in the daily training of elite gymnasts as well as young, talented gymnasts in all age groups all over the World and so also in Canada.
The Canadian TV station 'Discovery Channel' this week showed a film in their program 'Daily Planet' in which a story about the vaulting table 'PEGASES'was presented.
