Today the International Gymnastics Federation F.I.G. publishes summaries of the decisions taken by the Executive Committee in Zurich (SUI),last week, February 5 - 8, 2004.

• The anti-doping code of the WADA was accepted by the FIG.
• The new FIG Media Regulations has been approved and will be in effect immediately.
• The Executive Committee has adopted the electronic voting as of the next General Assembly inAntalya (TUR), October 21 -23, 2004.
• The Artistic World Championships 2007 will happen in Stuttgart (GER) from September 3 - 9.
• The Algerian Federation signed the contract for the organisation of the Trampoline World Cup Final, December 2nd, 2004, in Algier.
• The BBC has agreed to cover the Artistic World Cup event in Glasgow, in October 2004, and theArtistic World Cup Final in Birmingham (U.K.), in November 2004.
• The Trampoline World Championships 2007 will happen in Quebec City (CAN) from November 2 -4.
• The contract with the Organising Committee of the Artistic World Championships 2005 in Melbourne (AUS) has been signed. Dates : November 15- 27.
• The Federation of Liechtenstein proposed to organise the FIG Council in 2005.
• Affiliation to the FIG: The Executive Committee has acknowledged the candidacies from the Federations of Bahamas, Botswana, Cook Islands and Congo Brazzaville. Final decisions will be taken by the General Assembly in October.
• The FIG Authorities propose to keep the same fees for memberships and events organisations during the period of 2005 - 2008.
• The CAS will hear very soon the concerned entities in the doping case of the Spanish gymnast Gervasio Deferr.
• Regarding the doping case of the Bulgarian gymnast Simona Peycheva, the FIG Disciplinary Commission will invite her to a first audience in mid March 2004.
