Pottsville Gymnastic Training Center books GYMmedia Event Service

The Gymnastic Training Center (PGTC) of Pottsville, Pennsylvania (USA) is the first American partner 2004, booking the world wide GYMmedia Eventservice in the Olympic year.

The Pottsville Gymnastic Center is the host again of one of the biggest international events of the USA for femal gymnasts:
'FRIENDSHIP CLASSICS' will held March 19 - 21 and from now on GYMmedia will report in co-operation with the GTC about all news and facts of this international event...

Under the slogan 'ONE point in Internet - ALL information GYMmedia presents all higlights of the Wolrd of Gymnastics!

The Friendship Classic is held in Pennsylvania, USA and is hosted by the Pottsville Gymnastic Training Center (PGTC).
The Friendship Classic- under the direction of Sandy Kost-Sterner and Barbara Kost-Lonergan - has gained international exposure due to the amount of countries and the caliber of gymnasts.
Twenty different countries have already participated in the Friendship Classic.
Approximately 900 gymnasts (!!) from levels 4-10 will participate in this year's event. Confirmations for the 2004 World Class Session - to be held on Saturday evening - have already been received from international programs in Ukraine, Russia, Australia, Netherlands, Uzbekistan, Canada and Mexico.
A good preparation for...
Many of the countries are using the Friendship Classic as preparation for the upcoming European championships and other international events while others are using it to give international experience to their gymnasts.
Past participants have included world champion and olympic medalist Oksana Chusovitina, European junior floor champion Mirabella Akhunu, worlds fourth all around finisher Iryna Yarotska as well as numerous national champions as well as junior european gold medalists.
