CAN Gym Fed -- Houston, Texas gymnast Taqiy Abdullah was the leader in the Canada - Germany - USA Junior International Team competition on Saturday, as Team USA won the Gold, with a score of 212.10, followed by Germany with a score of 203.775 and Canada in third with 197.925.
The Burlington BGs Gymnastics facility was host to this spirited and friendly three country competition, and was an excellent start to the development of the next generation of Age Group/Junior athletes who willl some day represent Canada at the Senior level...
'It was a good experience for our gymnasts,' said Edouard Iarov, Canadian National Coach. 'These athletes will need to come together now more often, and we must begin to build a strong team for our future.'
