First day of Berlin Masters: Putintseva won

Svetlana Putintseva(RUS) won the first competition of Berlin Masters 2003 before Mary Sanders (USA) and Valeria Kurylskaya (BLR).
For the Grand Prix all around on Saturday are qualified: Mary Sanders (USA), Theodora Pallidou (GRE), Yukari Murata (JPN) , Ketevan Bakuradze (GEO), Dominika Cervenkova und Katerina Kopaceva (beide CZE).
Tomorrow. at 2 p.m. will start the all around with 26 gymnasts, among them Anna Bessonova (Ukraine), who became three-time European Champion 2003, and Vera Sesina (RUS), the best of the Grand Prix series 2003, as well will be among the participants in Berlin as also all-around European Champion Alina Kabaeva (Russia) and the current World Champions Tamara Yerofeeva (Ukraine) and Simona Peycheva (Bulgaria).
