Austria and Belgium become new members of IRV

In the realm of the 5th World Championships in wheelgymnastics the 5th General Assembly of the IRV took place on 27th May 2003 in Lillehammer /Norway. Therefore, 10 delegates from the member countries Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway and Switzerland came to the city of the 1994 Winter Olympics....

First IRV President of Honour

Two Federations, the ÖRHV from Austria and the VDT from Belgium, became new members of the IRV.
Both countries presented their applications for the World Championships in 2005. With a big majority the General Assembly gave the WC 2005 to Belgium. Austria will be ready to apply for 2007.
Peter de Jong (NED), who has been working more than 10 years for the international wheel gymnastics and who was a member of the presidency from the beginning of the IRV, became the first president of honour.

Vicepresident Public Relations: Sigrun Leisner (GER)
New general secretary will be Reto Meier / CH. On Thursday, 29th May, the competitions of the WORLD Championships in Lillehammer / N will start daily News and results will be present by the European Online Service GYMmedia.
