More than 20 actives took part in the international training camp, which the International Association of Wheel-Gymnastics (IRV) organized in cooperation with the responsibles and trainers of the german wheels’ group of TSV Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt.
The programme of the camp for competitors had his main contents in “new elements and exercises in spiral and vault”. Besides, the actives from Japan, Norway, the Netherlands and Switzerland got a lot of tips from the coachers from Taunusstein, leaded by the world-champions of 1999 Katja Homeyer and Wolfgang Bientzle.
In July, there will be another international wheel camp for the actives from all over the world. The camp will take place in Valencia/Spain. There, besides wheel training, the meeting of the international youth, doing wheels gymnastics, will come to the fore, including a programme with various leisure activities in sports and sightseeing.
