JANSSEN&FRITSEN -Official Supplier Athens 2004

The Dutch company Janssen & Fritsen - the worldwide wellknown producer of the new vaulting table 'PEGASES' and longtime title sponsor of GYMmedia Online Service - has been selected as supplier of all the equipment for the Artistic Gymnastics event at the Olympic Games ATHENS 2004.

Janssen&Fritsen have won the tender for the Olympic 2004
The Dutch producer of PEGASES have won the tender for the Olympic Games. It is however not the first time that Janssen – Fritsen has been honoured with the task to supply the equipment for the Olympic Games, we have done so already for the Olympic Games in:
- Mexico 1968
- Munich 1972
- Barcelona 1992

After being the sole supplier at the World Championships in Ghent in 2001, Janssen&Fritsen equipment will again be used at the most important event in Gymnastics, the Olympic Games.
The organising committee for the Olympic Games Athens 2004 invited all gymnastic equipment producers who hold one or more FIG certificates to make a bid for the supply of the Artistic Gymnastic equipment to be used during the Olympic Games 2004 in Athens, Greece.

The technical details regarding quality and construction of the equipment, clearness of the mounting instructions and the quality of the support, which could be given before and during the Olympic Games were all considered.

The Organising Committee rewarded Janssen – Fritsen with the highest score !
After winning the technical bid our financial bid was accepted and Janssen – Fritsen Gymnastics has been formally appointed as “Official Supplier of the Olympic Games ATHENS 2004”.
