'The competition is one of the first in the row of international Rhythmic Gymnastics events. It gives the opportunity to see new corrections to the current Code of Points and see in which direction they develop rhythmic gymnastics', said meet director Svetlana Scherba. 12 judges served on the panel in San Francisco, headed by USA Gymnastics Vice-President Dr. Andrea Schmid.
