Also like three weeks before the favourites of the second German qualifying of wheel gymnastics were the best again. This weekend the German qualification event took place in Bergisch Gladbach, near Cologne.
After the first qualification three weeks ago in Giessen now all six tickets in the different events where clear and the Germans will go to the coming world Championships in Lillehammer (Norway) with an absolutly strong team and with a lot of aspirants for the medals....

... also Janin OER (VfB Fallersleben) beats the world champion Julia Pohling..

In women's competition the five times world championJulia Pohling (SV Neuhof) presented a very new and difficult exercise in a bigger wheel like usual, to make more difficult elements. But to this time the exercise was not good enough yet, to win.
Janin Oer (VfB Fallersleben) was better again and is also the number one of the German ranking list. On third place came Annette Pusch (TV Bensberg) and made a big jump forward in the ranking list and got also a ticket to Lillehammer this summer, like also Sabine Bierfreund (ESV Fortuna Celle), Svenja Grau (SV Rugenbergen) and Tatjana Budniok (TSV Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt).

World Champion Schaefer -second!

In men's categoy Julius Petri (TSV Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt) - on second place at the first event - now beats the five-time world champion Jan Schaefer, who is coming from the same club.
The next rankings in men's category are:
Constantin Malchin (TV Bredeney), Florian Krause (SV Münster), Holger Schneider (TSV Bleidenstadt) and Tim Schmelcher (TSB Flensburg) are the candidates of the German world championships team

Friedericke Schindler on top again

In femal youth category once again the four-time junior world championFriederike Schindler (TSV Marburg-Ockerhausen) was the absolutly best gymnast. So she made a high risk with an Auerbach somersault in vault, was very reliable and presented a high level of techniques. So she won also the second qualification.
Laura Stullich came on second place and the WCh tickets got also to Kira Schneggenburger (TSV Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt), Kathrin Schad (TG Seitingen), Hannah Neff (TSV Marburg-Ockershausen) and Jenny Hoffmann (KSC Straußberg).
In male youth category also Simon Knapp (SV Rugenbergen) repeated his success of the first qualifying although he made a little mistake in spiral exercise. Jonas Litzki and Bjoern Scheuerling came on second and third places, followed by Hendrik Strauss (SG SW Oldenburg), Christoph Clausen (TSB Flensburg) and Marten Canisius (TuS Velmede-Bestwig).
