... a great entry field can be expected
When on March 6th 2010 in Berlin the "15th INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR-TEAM-CUP 2010" will take place, the city, which will also be the host of the European Championships 2011, can expect the performances of 27 teams from 17 nations and three continentes. It again will be a competition of the best junior gymnasts from all over the World. Some of them will be seen again on the winners' podium at World Champions, Olympic Games or other high-level international events in the next Olympic cycle.
For four time in a row the young athletes from the team Olympic Champion 2004, Japan, were the winners in Berlin.
Can Europe's talents counter this time...?

... And the winners from Japan will take part again and will challenge Europe's top junior gymnasts!
But not only that:
With Brazil for the first time and also with Canada a third continent, America, will be present. This competition, which formerly was known as OBI-Cup, is one of the most high-quality events world-wide for youth and junior gymnasts!
116 gymnasts will take part in the competition.11 of the expected 17 nations will come to Berlin with their junior national teams!

Austria, Canada, France and Switzerland will use this team- competition even with two teams!
For the fist time also a team from Jordan will be present. Well known guests already are the teams from Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovakia and the four-time winners from Japan!
From France and the Netherlands also club teams will join their junior national teams in Berlin.
It will be a difficult task for the teams from Germany: the hosts SC Berlin, a team from Swabia, as well as the club teams SC Cottbus and KTV Chemnitz.

Last year at the 14th International Junior-Team-Cup 2009 the team from the hosts SC Berlin ended up on the 7th place and was the best German team at this event.
Germany's best competitor was
Paulo Lando in the age group 17/18 on the 7th place also in the individual ranking. In the age group 15/16
Thao Huang Viet (SC Berlin) reached the 6th place.
