A prestigious bilingual coffeetable book about the 40th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2007 in Stuttgart

To mark the artistic gymnastics world championships from 1st to 9th September 2007 in Stuttgart, the publishing house Bechtel-Verlag in cooperation with the Gymnastics Magazine LEON* is presenting a prestigious coffeetable book, which will document these 40th gymnastics world championships in the history of the International Gymnastics Federation (F.I.G.) comprehensively both in pictures and in English and German text.

The only illustrated book published in Germany to commemorate these Gymnastics WCh!

In addition to the chapters on the WCh in Stuttgart, the book will contain many interesting facts concerning artistic gymnastics and the world championships, such as:

- an appraisal of the WCh history,
- reminiscences of the two German cities which have hosted the WCh to date, Dortmund and Stuttgart,
- the development of the apparatus and the competition rules,
- portraits of famous 'inventors' and much, much more....

Of course great attention has been paid to the visual presentation of the book.
For this reasn the photos are the work of the leading gymnastics photographer, the official photographer of the F.I.G. Volker Minkus, whereas the book is styled by the trained designer Andreas Aguilar, who has a personal WCh history, having won the title on rings in Stuttgart in 1989; Aguilar also designed the jubilee book for the F.I.G. in 2006.
