After the premiere 1957 in Bucharest, this time the
2008 European Championships of Women's Artistic Gymnastics took place for the 29th time and - after 1963, 2000 in Paris and 1992 in Nantes - for the fourth time in France, now.
Hosting city was
Clermont-Ferrand from April 3 to 6 for the elite and junior teams and also for the altogether 250 gymnasts, representing 34 European nations.
The team decision was the first highlight on Saturday, April 5 and the individual apparatus finals will close the event on Sunday, April 6.
