(4) Grand Prix 2007 - BURGAS: A total triumph of Vera Sesina ...

> German/deutsch
In absentia of the Russian Olympic champion Alina Kabaeva and the Ukrainian Anna Bessonva  Vera Sesina (RUS) won not only the first day's all-around competition with clean, exciting routines, and one very memorably touching ribbon routine, but also all the Sunday's apparatus finals. Her teammate and world champion Olga Kapranova was a close all-arounds's second and her gorgeous hoop routine to gorgeous Puccini music captured the audience as well as the judges here, just like in Portimao.
Bulgaria's Simona Peycheva -clearly the favorite -dazzled with amazingly difficult and sophisticated difficulties and artistry in all her routines....
Sunday's Finals
"A Love Story" always beats any other.....

Indeed, Vera Sessina's breathtaking ribbon routine to the world reknown music of the film "A Love Story" earned th highest of Artistic marks in the competition.
Otherwise, there were some knots, where they should not have been, namely in Olga Kapranova' ribbon, which changed the three medalists for this event. Sessina, Peycheva and Gimatova of AZE stood on the podium for ribbon.

Regrettably "Nessum Dorma"  (Olga's hoop routine) had a flaw in it and this denied her the gold medal in this event.  All events were won by Sessina, followed either by Kapranova or Peycheva and the other one in third place.

The other finalists did a fine job, some mistakes were made but the level of competition very high.
