The expected triple triumph at the all-around decision of the Grand Prix Tournament in the Moravian city Brno marks the superiority of the Russian gymnasts at Saturday: Vera Sessina won the all-around with a score of 71,533 points, in front of Olympic Champion Alina Kabaeva (71,082), followed by the World champion Olga Kapranova (70,132). The Byelorussian Inna Zhukova ranked on fourth place, followed by Irina Risenson from Israel.
Best of Czech host was Iva Mendlikova on ninth place among the 20 participants.
First winner of Sunday's finals with rope and hoop was the Russian Olga Kapranova, and after than Alina Kabaeva completed with with clubs and ribbon the total Russian triumph in Brno.
Only two non-Russian gymnasts, Inna Zhukova (BLR) and Irina Risenson (ISR), won final medals...

The city is surrounded by hills on three sides - only to the south does a larger plain open out. 21 gymnasts representing 13 nations will start there in the venue "Vodova" at the Grand Prix, but also international juniors at the "GiTy Cup"...

PREVIEW: 6th Grand Prix BRNO, May 27 - 28
For the first time in history Grand Prix tournament, the elite competition of rhythmic gymnasts, will be held in the Czech Republic.
The sixth competition of nine-piece series will take place on 27th and 28th May within the GiTy Cup in Brno.
Also here in Brno the Russian top trio Kabaeva / Kapranova / Sesina includes the absolute favorites for the all-around competition (on Saturday) and all the four Grand Prix apparatus finals on Sunday.
In absentia of the Ukrainian stars and the gymnasts from Spain and Kazakhstan, the Byelorussian Inna Khukova, the Bulgarian Simona Peycheva and perhaps the Israelite Irina Risenson have a chance of winning a medal.
So among others Lisa Wang from the USA and Janine Murray from Australia are fighting for their top performances and for the attention of the international judges and experts to document their individual progress.
The Czech host will present four gymnasts.
