The business group Henkel from Duesseldorf supports as main sponsor and with its name the 'Henkel Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup 2005', wich takes place on September 23 to 24 as a category-A world cup.
Representatives of the Sports agency Duesseldorf, German ''Rhine Gymnastics Federation' (RTB) and the main sponsor Henkel presented the program of the competition weekend at a press conference in the foyer of the NRW forum.
One week after the ''Berlin Masters'' Grand Prix in the Max-Schmeling-Hall where the individual gymnasts present themselves, will be the group presentations from the world's best gymnastics nations at the Philipps hall in Duesseldorf/Germany.

Henkel-Weltcup - last test before the Worldchampionships
The tournament in Duesseldorf is a part of the F.I.G.'s world cup circuit, wich was in Russia and Azerbaidshan before. It's the final test also for the gymnasts before the World Championships in Baku (Azerbaidshan) coming October.

Attractive aesthetic weekend
Not only for insiders but for a big number of ''theatre visitors of sport'' the creations of the gymnastic groups are an aesthetic non-plus-ultra in sports choreographies. The changes from ballet, performances and dance are flowing when five gymnasts are performing their choreography with ball, ribbon or clubbs at the same time on the floor.
The Organizers are confident that not only fans are going to find the way to Duesseldorf into the gym and hope for 1.200 visitors.
At the olympic group competition (AA) are up to 14 teams, within Olympic gold medalist Russia (< (photo, left), competing against each other.
On friday (Sep. 23) starts the qualification - the eight best teams are going to move into the finals on Saturday

The next Rhythmic Gymnastic event at the Philippsarena will be held in December already.
