This event will attract enormous attention from the Media as it is an Olympic qualification event and it will also give the public the rare chance to see the top athletes in the world who will compete in London. From our athlete’s point of view, the Championships will provide an opportunity to compete on home soil, to be supported by a home crowd and hopefully, be successful in their quest to qualify for London 2012."

The World Championships encompasses 8 events (4 male/4 female) held over a three-day period as well as the World Age Group Championships (Junior competition).
It is expected that around 650 gymnasts and officials from 40 countries will attend the world championships while the junior competition expects to attract around 1200 participants.
The event will also be the qualification competition for the Trampoline discipline for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
