Australian coach Peggy Liddick today named 18-year-old Daria JOURA alongside five other Olympic first-timers in the team following the final selection trials at the AIS in Canberra at the weekend.

The full Aussie women's team comprises
- Daria Joura, fellow West Australians
- Lauren Mitchell, 16, and
- Olivia Vivian, 18, and the Victorian trio
- Shona Morgan, Ashleigh Brennan, both 17, and 18-year-old
- Georgia Bonora, 18.
Victorian Emma Dennis was named reserve and will continue to train with the team, which will be chasing Australia's first-ever artistic gymnasts medal at an Olympic Games.
