27th Rhythmic Worlds: Second competition day - first decisions

The first decisions will be seen during today's second competition day of the 27th World Championships in Baku.
The best eight gymnasts compete for the World Championship titles in the finals with rope and ball. These finals start at 7.00 pm local time (4.00 pm CET). It is likely that the 8 finalists for each of the two finals will be known already after the first rotation of groups D and C (which include all of the favourites). This rotation ends at around 10.40 am local time (1.40 pm CET).

The currently running event also is the team competition (decision on Thursday) and serves as qualification for Saturday's all-around final....

The favourite for the ball final could be seen already yesterday: It probably won't be possible to beat the 17.275 which Olga Kapranova (RUS) reached during yesterday's first rotation in the qualification.
Although the final of course starts again at the score of zero, Kapranova is the current European Champion with the ball and in top shape at the moment ...
