VI. BLUME -RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS TOURNAMENT 2018

The 6th International Iournament of Rhythmic Gymnastics BLUME GRAN CANARIA 2018 for groups this year saw guests from nine different countries at the start. This, of course, was again a great incentive and challenge for the dedicated rhythmic gymnastics centers of four Canary Islands to face up to this international competition, since the entire Spanish-speaking world is considered to be extremely gymnastic-minded.
This prompted the BLUME organizers, who were equally enthusiastic about rhythmic gymnastics, to significantly expand the competition program: In addition to the group competitions, this year also saw an individual competition! Not expected, however, with such a supply of a total of over 300 gymnasts ... !!

19th Blume-TeamGym-Tournament 2018

The dynamic group discipline of modern gymnastics, "TeamGym", can already look back on a long tradition at the BLUME-Festival:
Already for the 19th time a TeamGym tournament has been inaugurated at the BLUME-Festival. Traditionally, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has provided its large sports hall. This tournament is also part of the European TeamGym circuit, to whose founding members the Blume-OC belongs. The 58th BLUME Festival 'Gran Canaria' 2018 begins ...

More than 1,050 foreign participants from 20 different countries are expected this week at the 58th BLUME Festival Gran Canaria 2018. Together with more than 3,300 enthusiastic children, adolescents, adults and the constantly growing groups of active seniors and its special Canarian flair of the holiday and tourism island, this gymnastics festival has acquired a world-wide reputation for half a century.
Named after the Spanish folk hero of German descent, Joaquin BLUME, who tragically died in the late 1950's, embodies the best moments of active sportsmanship of all ages in modern societies. A festival of true European commonality - also again this year:

From November 24 to December 01 the gymnastics disciplines are booming at 33 gymnastics events in nine communities throughout the island of "eternal spring": in the capital Las Palmas, in Arucas, Agüimes, Ingenio, in Mogán, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Santa Brígida, Santa Lucia de Tirajana and Telde and, of course, at the popular show evenings in the South, in the tourist metropolis of Maspalomas ...

58. Festival "BLUME GRAN CANARIA" - Relax under Palms also for a cool Finish Men's Team

The plans for the delightful GYM Festival 2018 "BLUME GRAN CANARIA" are already in full swing.
OK Chief Jesus TELO RODRIGUEZ recently sent an BLUME event ambassador to Turku, Finland, with the North German Klaus WITTE, where the advertisements for the 58th Spanish "Festival of Heart" at the "Suomi Gymnaestrada 2018" received a great deal of attention. Together with the organizing committee of the World Gymnaestrada Dornbirn 2019, the Spaniards and their German BLUME Ambassador Klaus Witte advertised for this year's visit to the "Island of Eternal Spring", where an attractive program awaits participants again:
Show programs on many stages and squares, workshops for individual fitness programs and an ever-evolving competition program have made the festival in memoriam of the Spanish national hero Joaquin BLUME, who had been fatally killed in an aircroft accident over half a century ago, by now is aworld-famous top athlete of gymnastics history.

58th Festival "BLUME Gran Canaria" 2018

The fitness conscious clientele of the legendary Multi-GYM Festival "BLUME Gran Canaria" are already recording the current data of the 58th edition:
From 2018 November 23 to December 01 the Island of "eternal spring" will  be the once again meeting place for the actors, groups and clubs of many age groups from Europe and many parts of the world to combine holiday with sport, show and fun in a joyful way.
