The Spanish chief of organisation Jesus Telo is happy: "Never before we registered more than 220 different clubs, so in this year we will notice a new record in the history of this lovely gymnastics festival "BLUME GRAN CANARIA! And I'm surprised, because we are in the year of the highligt "World Gymnaestrada Lisbon 2003! Our organizing committee is redy - all our guests from 12 differnt countries can come!" Special guests will be the "CosmicArtists" from the host of the "International German Gymnastics Festival 2005", from Berlin. ... a Festival
with heart again! October 1st has been the deadline for entries of one of the friendliest gymnastics festivals on the World, the BLUME Gran Canaria Festival which will take place from November 21st – 30th 2003. Again about 6,000 participants are expected. It is not only a highlight in Spain but also World-wide. This time even a group of the club Dojo Clubs Bamako from Mali/ Africa is going to participate in the festival. Also for the first time no less than 200 participants from Czech Republic will travel to Spain. A group of gymnasts from the city which will host the German Gymnastics Festival 2005, Berlin, will also participate in the BlUME Festival this year – the “Cosmic Artists” with their air track show. 2002:
... a special Sports Event of Illusions The shows and performances in the warm and magic November nights of Gran Canaria were a phantastic highlight on the Plaza de Maspalomas, downtown of Playa del Ingles. The third Spanish TV channel sent the best moments from this wounderful event.... Magicans, walking on stilts, the drummers fram Biberach (Germany), funky-musik from Ingenio filled the thousends of spectators with enthusiasm.
