Elizabeth Price and Sam Mikulak won the American Cup

Sam Mikulak (USA; Corona del Mar, Calif./University of Michigan, and Elizabeth Price (USA;of Coopersburg, Pa./Parkettes National Training Center), won the all-around titles at the 2014 AT&T American Cup at the Greensboro (N.C.) Coliseum Complex. In the men’s competition, Mikulak earned a 90.098 to take the title followed by Japan’s Shogo Nonomura at 88.965. Great Britain’s Daniel Purvis was third at 88.899.

William 'Bill' Roetzheim passed away ...

With great sadness the American and international GYMfamily shared the passing of the two times Olympian William "Bill" ROETZHEIM (85), of Plant City, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Bill Roetzheim was born in Chicago, IL, and was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving the U.S. during the Korean War.  He was a highly successful gymnast, winning 9 National Championships in AAU and NCAA competition.
