AMSTERDAM - city of this year's European Championships
The city of Amsterdam and the Royal Dutch Gymnastics Federation (KNGU) are seizing the opportunity of the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships to promote gymnastics with the Amsterdam youth via a special school project.

Today the leaders of the Government of Ukraine held a meeting in honour of tomorrow's International 'Women’s Day, with women from different regions of the country, the Forum’s correspondent informs us.

Last weekend a friendly meet of women's artistic gymnastics took place in Soissons, France.
ITALY (230.35)outscored the host FRANCE by more than six points. CANADA finished in third place with a total of 223.80, a mere 0.40 behind the crowd favourite France. An inexperienced team from GREAT BRITAIN placed fourth (214.500).

Stefani Bismbikou and Christos Lympanovnos won the senior women's and men's all-around titles, respectively, at the Greek Championships 2007 that took place March 3-4 in Thessaloniki.
Bismbikou, who finished 15th all-around at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, successfully defended her title. She had the highest score of the all-around on balance beam, but fell in the event final and placed fourth.
