Cottbus und Yokohama im Fokus der Turn-Talente

Zeitgleich mit dem hochkarätigen europäischen Nachwuchsturnier für junge Turner, dem GWG-Cup in Cottbus, gibt es im japanischen Yokohama ein traditionelles Internationales Nachwuchs-Wettkampf, bei dem Deutschland durch die beiden Deutschen Jugendmeister Andreas TOBA (NTT / TK Hannover) und Sebastian KRIMMER (Backnang) vertreten werden, die den Mehrkampftitel im Juni bei den Deutschen Jugendmeisterschaften in Spergau (Sachsen-Anhalt) punktgleich in der AK 17/18 gewonnen hatten.

Only one week after the  40th Worlds in Stuttgart the next competition of this year's world cup series (category B) was held in the city of Ostrava, in the Czech Republic.

Most of the international top stars left out this event .
So it was a good possibility for a lot of second rank athletes to get the attention of the media and the experts...

The 40th EnBW Men's Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2007 and the 31st Women's World Championships from September 1-9 in Stuttgart's Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Hall were not merely world championships, but also the only possibility to qualify for the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. 
The European Gymnastics Service "GYMmedia INTERNATIONAL" reported directly from Stuttgart. China, the USA and - for the first time in many years - Germany were the most successful nations of these Worlds, but also the organization of these worlds deserved a special gold medal...!

On Friday at 10 am local time the second day of podium training starts with the last  four subdivisions at the worlds venue "Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Hall in Stuttgart.
First Australia, Canada and Portugal will go on the podium, followed at 1 pm local time by Rumania and the USA, at 4 pm by Italy, Ukraine, Greece. 
The German team iss pleased with its place in the last group of the second day at 7 pm in the evening, together with Korea and Spain....!
