Gabriela Jahn new president of Turnsport Austria

The delegates of the 9 Austrian provincial associations elected the current Vice President Dr. Gabriela JAHN as the new President of Turnsport Austria today in Vienna at the association's ordinary meeting without a dissenting vote. The previous President, Prof. Friedrich Manseder, had previously stepped down after 14 years at the helm of Austria's sixth-largest federal sports association and was appointed Honorary President.
Bianca Franzoi, Thomas Dworak and Helmut Haderer were elected as the new Vice Presidents of Turnsport...

When will ‘Para Gymnastics’ also become Paralympic?

You won't find ‘Para Gymnastics’ in the Paris 2024 Paralympic programme yet!
Nevertheless, the sport of apparatus gymnastics was included in the programme as an official international summer sport at Special Olympics International and was also introduced as an official sport at Special Olympics Germany in July 2020. At the "Special Olympic World Games" in Berlin / GER (June 2023), we also learnt more about the development status of this still young sport in Germany.

33rd OLYMPIC GAMES - ARTISTIC, RHYTHMIC & TRAMPOLINE GYMNASTICS

The 33rd OLYMPIC SUMMER GAMES Paris 2024 will begin for the Gymnastics Disciplines on Saturday July 27/28 with the men's artistic gymnastics qualifications, followed by the women's competitions. After the artistic team decisions and all-around finals, the men's and women's TRAMPOLINE decisions will take place on August 02.
