26 gymnasts aged 10 to 12 and 21 coaches representing 14 member federations (AUT, FIN, FRA, GBR, GER, IRL, ISR, ITA, LUX, POL, RUS, SLO, SUI, TUR) participated in the 2003 UEG training camp held in Tirrenia (ITA) from July 14th till July 24th.

Artistic Gymnastics

The artistic gymnastics men's team of host Slovakia won a friendly dual meet in Bratislava against Croatia with a score of 210.30 to 203,15 points.
Filip Ude from Croatia was the best gymnast in all-around with a score of 52,55 points.

Artistic Gymnastics

Members of the German Women's National Gymnastics Team are training at the University of Utah's Dumke Gymnastics Center through Aug. 7 in preparation for the 2003 Gymnastics World Championships in Anaheim, Calif., Aug. 16-24.
Also training with the German Team in Salt Lake is Oksana from Uzbekistan.
Chusovitina (28), who competed in the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Olympic Games, will be trying to qualify for her fourth Olympic Games.

The Cuban men and the USA women won the team titles at the 2003 Pan American Games, held Saturday in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The USA women's team outscored the defending team champions, Canada, and Brazil.
The Cubans men's team successfully defended their team title from the last Pan Am Games, Winnipeg 1999. The Brazil team won silver and the American men, which defending silver medalists, slipped to bronze behind Brazil.
