Training camp in the USA: Germany needs new gymnasts!

Anja BRINKER of Herkenrath will be the only member of the German gymnastics team from the last Olympics to participate in the national squad training camp in the USA, which is to take place in Piano, Texas from 2 - 10 February at the training centre of Olympic gold medal winner Anastasia Liukin.
Joeline MÖBIUS of TuS Chemnitz-Altenhof was the last to withdraw on account of back problems.

Nastia LIUKIN named 2008 USOC Co-Sportswoman of the Year

2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin of Parker, Texas, was named the 2008 U.S. Olympic Committee's (USOC) "Co-SportsWoman of the Year" with swimmer Natalie Coughlin.

NG, Shu wei - back as a coach to Malaysia

Former national artistic gymnast of Malaysia, NG, Shu Wai, has become a hot property again after completing a three-month coaching stint in Hungary.
The Malaysian Selangor Amateur Gymnastics Association (SAGA) have made their move to hire the talented Shu Wai as the coach for their state gymnastics programme.
