FIG Athlets commission:: Aljaz Pegan re- und Catalina Ponor new-elected

On the sidelines of the 2021 World Championships of artistic gymnastics in Kitakyushu, Japan, the Slovenian ex-high bar world champion from 2005, Aljaz PEGAN (47), was re-elected as athletes spokesman for a second term (until 2025). Since Montreal 2017 he worked together with Oksana Chusovitina (47; UZB) in the athletes' committee of FIG.

Hans Pfann, the oldest Olympian of Gymnastics died

As we only found out today, Hans PFANN - Germany's oldest Olympian - died on September 9th, just 5 days before his 101st birthday, in his home town of Neuoetting (Germany; Bavaria).

Nach der letzten coronabedingten Absage hat die Kunstturnregion Berlin/Brandenburg nun doch noch den traditionellen deutschen BERLINER BÄRCHENPOKAL für den Turn-Nachwuchs in diesem Jahr vorbereitet. Ereigniswochenende ist nun der 18./19. September 2021.
