From November 7 to November 9 was held the Artistic Gymnastics "2008 World Cup "GRAND PRIX OSTRAVA" in the Czech Republic.

On women's side three titles went to China, also the men's winner on pommel horse came from the last Olympic hosts,
but also two victors came from the Netherlands and from Slovakia and the only one non-Chinese winner was the Hungarian Dorina BOCZOGO (vault) ...

After 2003 and 2005 a German artistic gymnastics women's selection won the 33rd anniversary of the traditional "LEVERCUSEN CUP" 2008.

In an extremely barely and extensive manner the titleholder from Italy, the team Ginnastica Artistica Lissonese, loose points specially at the uneven bars and so the strong German team, represented by Elisabeth SEITZ, Lisa Kathrin HILL and Nadine JAROSCH, won to the third time in this decade this 2008 team cup.

The eight's placed of the 2008 Olympic final on flloor, the Israelian Alexander Shatilov (photo, left) beat the 2007 floor world champion Diego Hypolito (BRA) at the World Cup final day in Glasgow.
The other winners came from Slovenia (Mitja Petkovsek and Alen Dimic), from Hungary, (Kristian Berki) Netherlands (Yuri van Gelder)  and France (Thomas Bohail).

On women's side the Dutch Sanne Weavers was the most successfull gymnast, winning...
