After the Opening Ceremony of the I. European Games 2015 in Baku/AZE on Fridy, June 12, also gymnasts of five different disciplines took place at this continental premiere up to the final day, Sunday June 21:
→ Artistic Gymnastics (men/women, teams & individual), which finished Saturday, June 20 already with the final events
→ Rhythmic Gymnastics (ind. & groups), → Trampoline (ind. & synchro),
→ Aerobic and → Acrobatic gymnastics.

Russia's Aliya MUSTAFINA won the first ever artistic gymnastics European Games all-around title!
Aliya Mustafina showed their dominance in this all-around final, both taking the lead in the second rotation and not letting go. In the moment Ukraine's European all-around champion Oleg VERNIAIEV was unbeatable: Once again he broke through the point's barrier of 90 as the only one athlete and won the all-around gold medal of the 1st European Games 2015 in Baku with a score of 90,332. But at the final day, he was qualified for five finals but he had power enough for the victory at one apparatus: He won gold at vault, but no more medal.

Ellie Black and Jackson Payne win Canadian gymnastics championships

* Ellie BLACK of Halifax edged Isabela ONYSHKO of Minnedosa, Man., to claim her third straight women’s all around senior title at the 2015 Canadian gymnastics championships.
