FIG Athlets commission:: Aljaz Pegan re- und Catalina Ponor new-elected

On the sidelines of the 2021 World Championships of artistic gymnastics in Kitakyushu, Japan, the Slovenian ex-high bar world champion from 2005, Aljaz PEGAN (47), was re-elected as athletes spokesman for a second term (until 2025). Since Montreal 2017 he worked together with Oksana Chusovitina (47; UZB) in the athletes' committee of FIG.

Hans Pfann, the oldest Olympian of Gymnastics died

As we only found out today, Hans PFANN - Germany's oldest Olympian - died on September 9th, just 5 days before his 101st birthday, in his home town of Neuoetting (Germany; Bavaria).

In Mersin / TUR, the European Gymnastics City of 2020, the last FIG World Challenge Cup of the 2020/21 season took place.
