Russia's Anna Pavlova retired

Russia's former top-star of artistic gymnastics Anna PAVLOVA announced her official retirement from racing. The 28-year old, who dressed the body of Azerbaijan the last three years, had won two bronze medals (with the team and on vault) at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, when she represented Russia. Also she participated in the 2008 Olympics, where Russia ranked on fourth team pleace. Her coach in her young years was her mother Natalia Pavlova.

TOYOTA CUP 2015 with dominant Japanese Men and Russian girls

The Japanese hosts of the "International TOYOTA Cup 2015" at the car city near Tokyo also dominated last weekend also on the final day of this invitation competition all men's finals: World champion and champion of the quadruple-twist Kenzo SHIRAI sat on floor exercises with 15,700 the highest mark in front of compatriot Naoto Hayasaka and won the vault final  (15.225) before the Vietnamese LE Tanh Tung.

The Australian Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Team are back in the gym, commencing an intensive training camp in Melbourne this week in preparation for the Rio Test Event in April 2016, after their 14th place finish in the Team competition at last month’s Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
