The British Gymnastics Federation congratulated its pommel-horse world champion Max Whitlock who has been named on the Debrett's 500, a positive endorsement and recognition of Britain's 500 most influential people.

Mersin and Szombathely have been added to the 2016 International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) World Challenge Cups calendar for artistic gymnastics.
