Nikolai the Great is fighting for his Life!

* International Gymnast Magazine reported  that former Soviet champion Nikolai Andrianov has been suffering from multiple system atrophy (MSA), a disease likely to eventually take his life. MSA is a neurological disorder that affects motor skills and muscle coordination and progresses until it kills the patient.

British Worlds Team Rotterdam 2010 announced ...

The British Gymnastics Federation announced it's men's and women's team for the 42nd WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS of ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS, which will held from 16 - 24 October in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Heading the Teams will be World Floor Champion and European Floor and Uneven Bars Champion Beth Tweddle.
Alongside Beijing Olympic Pommel Horse Bronze medallist and European Pommel Silver medallist Louis Smith.

2010 Artistic Gymnastics Russian Cup

After winning the all-around competition of the 2010 Russian Cup in Chelyabinsk Sergei KHOROKHORDIN of Barnaul (89,550) won also two more titles at the parallel bars and the high bar  final event, which concluded on Sunday, August 30.
Second placed Igor PAKHOMENKO (Leninsk-Kuznezk) ranked second on high bar and was followed by bronze medallist Maxim DEVIATOVSKI won the silver medal on parallel bars.
