Sokol GRAND PRIX 2004

The international mixed pair Imogen Cairns (GBR) and David Vyoral (CZE) was the winner of the 2004 final round of 'SOKOL GRAND PRIX ' in Brno (Czech Republik) this weekend.
Guests from seven nation and all together 12 pairs took part at this international artistic gymnastics event in the Czech Republik.

Chinese Trials and National Champs

Xinhua pronounced, that China has named a 26 strong gymnastics squad for the upcoming Athens Olympic Game.
The interim lineup, consisting of 11 men and 15 women, will finally be reduced to six men and six women sometime after the ongoing Olympic trial, slated for 2004, May 14-17....

PEGASES in Ulan Bator
Also in Mongolia now young talents as well as the elite gymnasts can use the modern vaulting table 'PEGASES'.
After the premiere of this new apparatus at the 2001 World Champs in Ghent until now there was no opportunity for the Gymnastics Federation of Mongolia to receive the gift of the F.I.G. and the Dutch company Janssen-Fritsen. Loes Linders switches to De Hazekamp

During the last weekend it was published that the Dutch all-around juniorr champion 2003, Loes Linders, has decided to switch to a different club. She will from now on train at the gymnastics center 'GTV de Hazenkamp' with the coaches Boris Orlov and Esther Heijnen.
Further information will be given during a press conference on Wednesday, May 19th 2004 in the training center of Nijmegen.
