From October 7th to 16th and for the second time after Sabae (1995) Japan is host of ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, which this year are also the first part of the Olympic qualifications. The 44th Salamunov Memorial, FIG Challenger tournament in Maribor ended with the second finals day. The first gold medal went to Matthias Fahrig (GER) on vault.
