This week ended the course of the FIG Coach Academy Level 3 which was held at the German Sports University in Cologne from 25th September to 2nd October. This is the highest level of coach education in the Academy Program of the International Federation: Only eight Academies were held worldwide at this level until now.

The U.S. and Japanese gymnasts dominated the International Junior competition, held Sunday and Monday in Yokohama, Japan.

On the first day of competitions at the 22nd International GWG-Cup 2007 in the Cottbus Lausitzarena the Ukrainian Mykyta Yermak won the all-round competition of the 11 to 14 year olds ahead of his team mate Oleg Vernyayev. Sebastian Bock from Chemnitz came 3rd.
