Worldcup in Cottbus: Isayeva most successful gymnast

The '30th Tournament of Masters' has ended with the 2nd finals' day.

Irina Isayeva (RUS) took the victories on balance beam and floor and became the most successful gymnast in the women's field this year.

In the men's field Brandon O'Neill from Canada won the final on vault. Vlasios Maras (GRE) managed to repeat his great performance from the qualification and won on high-bar. The victory on parallel bars went to Mitja Petkovsek from Slovenia...

World Cup Cottbus: First Finals Day in a dreamlike atmosphere!

The 1st finals day in the dreamlike theater arena of the 'City Hall' of Cottbus took place in a wonderful atmosphere.
Following his already strong performance in the qualification Diego Hypolito from Brazil won the first final on floor. Jana Bieger also managed to repead her explosive performance from yesterday on vault and won this final. The victory on pommel horse went to Krisztian Berki from Hungary.

World Cup TOURNAMENT OF MASTERS in Cottbus: The Qualification Rounds....

Oksana Chusovitina (UZB) once again in her long career reached the 1st place on vault. On uneven bars China’s Li Ya clearly dominated the field with her spectacular routine.

Commonwealth Games: Host Australia most successfull

Aussie's Balance: 6-6-6 ...Gold, Silver, Bronze...!
 Australian Joshua Jefferis has won gold for Australia in the Men’s All-Around Artistic Gymnastics final at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne with an overall score of 89.45. Canadian Nathan Gafuik won the silver and Australian Philippe Rizzo secured the bronze. Rizzo and Jefferis are both members of the Men’s Team that won silver behind Canada on the first day of the competition.
Not Olympic Champion Shewfelt but another Canadian won the gold...
