Eleven gymnasts have been selected to represent New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in March 2006.
The New Zealand Olympic Committee in conjunction with New Zealand Gymnastics confirmed the eleven member team including nine Artistic Gymnasts (five women, four men) and two Rhythmic Gymnasts.

Only two members of the team, Belinda Castles and Daniel Good, have previous Commonwealth Games experience, both as members of the 2002 Manchester team...

Ulrich Spieth, the Manager Germany's SPIETH Gymnastic, the world-wide wellknown company producing gymnastic equipment, signs the 2-years advertising contract with Fabian Hambuechen.
With this engagement SPIETH means to support and assist Fabian on his way to Gymnastics World Championship 2007 in Stuttgart.
