Erika Zuchold, the first woman in the world with the flic flac on beam passed away suddenly

With great sorrow the worldwide gymnastics world responds to the message from the family circles, that the Olympic silver medalist from 1968 and 1972 (Mexico-City and Munich) and former world champion from 1970, Erika ZUCHOLD from Leipzig (Germany) died on Saturday, August 22, in Paraguay surprisingly at the age of 68 years.

6th Asian Championships 2015

The 6th Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships of Artistic Gymnastics 2015 started on July 31, in Hiroshima Prefectural Sports Center with the finals of the Women's Team but also with the All-Around events.

EYOF 2015 - Artistic Gymnastics - Girls

At 13th European Youth Olympic Festival 2015 in the Georgian capital Tbilisi, Russia won the second gold in the girls artistic gymnastics events: After gold with the team now Daria SKRYPNIK won in all-around, scoring 55,750 points,  but with the same score Belgiums Axelle KLINKAERT was second (because bader E-note). The Bronze medal went to the second Russian gymnast, to Anastasia ILIANKOVA for 55,500 points.
