The International Gymnastics Hall of Fame (IGHOF) included 98 individuals from 22 nations on May 19, 2018, in Oklahoma City:

Kakeru Tanigawa - youngest Japanese Champion - Uchimura third only!

Not only is Kohei Uchimura‘s reign as world all-around champion finished, but he’s also no longer the Japanese national all-around champion. Uchimura, the double Olympic all-around gold medalist and eight-time world-all around champ, finished third at the 2018 All-Japan Championships over the weekend. “This gives me a sample of something I haven’t tasted up to this point,” Uchimura said, according to Kyodo News. “From now on, it’s no longer about results.”

In March 2018 the International Gymnastics Federation introduces the Gymnastics Ambassadors for all the 2018 World Championships.
The F.I.G. is pleased to announce the nine champions who will be the Gymnastics Ambassadors at its 2018 World Championships.
"We are delighted that these major names, who in their own way have each made history in their discipline and influenced their sport, have agreed to act as Ambassadors," said Morinari Watanabe, President of the FIG.
