Strong Japanese gymnasts won three of the four titles at the rrampoline world cup 'Astronaut Alexandrov'in the Bulgarian capital Sofia last weekend. Yasuhiro Ueyama won the men's individual Olympic category with a score of 41,80 points, followed by the Russian 'oldy' Gherman Knytchev and the strong Chinese LIU, Qipeng (1,5 difficulty!!).
The Britis Claire Wright was the best of the women's category. On second place came the Ukrainian Olena Mowtschan followed by the Russian top star Irina Karavaeva.

On Easter weekend was held the SCANDINAVIAN OPEN, a traditional trampoline competition, take place in the Haslev Sports Center (Denmark) organized by the Haslev Trampolin & Turngymnaster, from Friday, March 25 to Saturday 26
Peter Jensen (DEN) was the winner in the men's Open category and Nicole Pacheco from Portugal won the women's Olympic class....

In men's senior competition of the INTERNATIONAL FLOWERS CUP in Aalsmer (NED) Peter Jensen of Denmark won the gold.
Alaina Hebert of the U.S., took the gold earning 38.10 points in the final and the Canadian Rosannagh MacLennan of Toronto captured a silver medal in the women's senior event at this weekend's Flowers Cup trampoline competition.
A large number of 322 actually competed in the event....

The UEG announced, that the five-times world champion and Olympic Champion of Sydney 2000, Alexander MOSKALENKO finished his precedentless career. The Russian trampoline super star was recently nominated director of sports of the region of Krasnodar, the city where he was born 35 years ago. He will therefore no longer be in the position to ensure an international competitive career.

Irina Karavaeva (RUS) was the best athlete of the Trampoline Worldcup Final in Algier (ALG). She won the individual final and the synchron competition with her teammate Natalia Kolesnikova. The best of men's synchron were Takayuki Kawanishi / Daisuke Nakata.
Juri Nikitin (UKR) won the men's individual competition in front of Alexander Rusakov (RUS) and World Champion Henrik Stehlik (GER).
Andrei Kabishev (BLR) and Anna Korobeynikova (RUS) won the Tumbling Worldcup-Finals.
