British Gymnastics announced WCh Team for St. Petersburg

British Gymnastics is delighted to announce the Trampoline Team for the 2009 World Championships in St Petersburg, Russia, 11-14th November.
The games are the first in the new Olympic cycle, and the first of many important competitions for the elite British Trampoline gymnasts ahead of London 2012.

Last Trampoline World Cup of the Circuit 2008/9

The fifth and last Trampoline event of the 2008/09 F.I.G. circuit took place at the hometown of the German Olympian Henrik Stehlik, in Salzgitter, but the Olympic Bronze medallist (2004, Athens) missed this competition because professional reasons.
The strongChinese, HUANG Shanshan (photo, left) and DONG Dong and  won in the men's and women's trampoline finals.

Masaki ITO (JPN) and Elena MOVCHAN (UKR) were the winners of the World Cup Series in individual trampoline at the end of this FIG serie.

2009 Chinese Trampoline Nationals

The 2009 Chinese National Championship Competition of Trampolining and Tumbling where held in Jinzhong (prov. Shanxi) from August 20 t o 22.
The winners of the Olympic individual trampoline competition were the Olympic Champion (2009 Beijing) Lu Chunlong, beating the World cup winner DONG Dong and the 2007 world champion YE Shuai.
On women's side, Zhong Xingping get gold, in front of Olympic bronze medallist (2004) HUANG Shanshan and WANG Yun.
