Horst Kunze - taking stock and looking ahead

Horst Kunze (GER) has held the position of President of the Trampoline Gymnastics Technical Committee ever since 1988, when the discipline was governed by the International Trampoline Federation (FIT).
He retained the same position in the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) after the FIT was dissolved and Trampoline became a discipline of the FIG on January 1, 1999.

The first decision of these 29thTrampolin World Championships in Sofia fell on Friday evening already :
The first title went to the men's trampoline team of China, which succeeded against Russia. This dominant leadership trio put between himself and the bronze medallist (Australia ) the difference of 44 (!) points.
