FIG supports The World Games postponement to July 2022

* fig -press--: The FIG welcomes the decision of the International World Games Association (IWGA) to hold The World Games in Birmingham, United States, in July 2022 instead of 2021. Following the postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the IWGA and the Birmingham Organising Committee have agreed to reschedule the 11th edition of The World Games, which will now take place from 07 to 17 July 2022. ► WORLD GAMES 2022

2020 ACRO Worlds postponed

* f i g --: The FIG regrets to inform that the 27th Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships will not be held from 29th to 31st May 2020 in Geneva, Switzerland, as planned. The 11th World Age Group Competitions are not taking place as planned either. 2019 EUROPEAN GAMES - Acrobatics Gymnastics

After a spectacular Opening Ceremony, the gymnastics competition kicked off today at the Minsk Arena. 12,000 enthusiastic fans supported the rhythmic and acrobatic gymnasts competing for the first medals of the Games.
In Acrobatic Gymnastics, the mixed pairs and women’s groups fought for the medals in the balance and dynamic finals.
