One of the oldest centers of the German acrobatic gymnastics,  the club "SAV Schwarzenberg" invites, in two-year rhythm for now 12th International Erzgebirggscup 2012.
This year's edition is one of the highlights in 45 years history of  "SPORT ACROBATICS In ORE MOUNTAINS" (Erzgebirge)"!
The sporting competition will be enriched with a "fireworks of acrobatics", named  "Atlantis" could be required for the Leipzig artistic gymnastics Olympic champion from Munich 1972, Klaus Köste, as moderator.

From 2012, April 16 - 18 took place the 23rd WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS of Acrobatic Gymnastics, followed by the so called 7th Age Group Competitions (April 20 - 22).
At the end Russia was the dominating nation again, winning 9 of 16 gold medals, followed by Great Britain (4 Golden) and Belgium, Ukraine and China (each 1 gold).

USA Gymnastics and the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) are excited for the 2012 World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships, along with the World Age-Group Competition, to be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex's HP Field House at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida.
More than 600 gymnasts total are expected to participate in the World Championships, scheduled for April 16-18...,

Altogether 62 formations representing eight nations were guests of the 7th ACRO CUP 2011 in Albershausen, Germany, which will organized every two years in the small Swabian village by organizer Günther Maeussnest.
Special guests were the teams from Russia and from Belarus, so the competition took place of a very top level and was dominated by these acrobates in confrontation with delegations from Netherlandss, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and host Germany ...

* f i g - news --: The Acrobatic Gymnastics World Cup event slated for Maia (POR) on March 4-6, 2011, was cancelled.
The Portuguese Gymnastics Federation deeply apologises for having to make this decision so late in the game; a slew of politically-oriented obstacles arose within the local organisation making it impossible to hold the event.
